MGP Site Remediation — Dixon

RW Collins completed site remediation for a Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) in Dixon, IL.
Due to close proximity of city streets and sidewalk, an innovative bracing system was used for earth retention, with internal struts to avoid projecting beyond property lines

Lincoln Yards, Chicago

RW Collins completed a wide array of environmental remediation at the former Finkl & Sons Steel Plant in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. This land is being redeveloped for a mixed-use property in the heart of Lincoln Park, known as Lincoln Yards. Numerous challenges were encountered on the more than 100-year-old steel plant site, including 30 underground storage tanks. The land is now ready for redevelopment and green space use for the neighborhood.
